Anyone got tips on how to remove nail varnish from surfaces?

I recently got dark red nail varnish on some of my piano keys.

Stupidly I ran straight to the nail varnish remover.

The dark red colour itself has gone but I'm worried the coating of the keys has come off as they are now duller than they were before.

Is it possible to buy new keys to replace the marked ones, or is there a way of cleaning them?

How much would it cost?Anyone got tips on how to remove nail varnish from surfaces?
Squeeze a small amount of a mild non-coloured toothpaste on to a damp lint-free cloth, and gently rub the piano keys, then wipe the keys clean with a second lint-free cloth that has been dipped in fresh milk. Use the milk to rinse the toothpaste off the keys without using any harmful chemicals that discolor the ivory. Give the piano keys a few minutes to air dry, and then buff them with a clean lint-free cloth.
