Try ironing the shirt with some sheets of paper from a toilet roll underneath the fabric and on top of the spot. The idea is to melt the polish and to get it to evaporate and/or get sucked up.

use a non-acetone nail polish remover, in case of chemical reaction with the polyester. :-) HTH
