How to remove nail varnish from a laminate floor?

I spilt a bit of nail varnish (bright pink!) on the laminate floor this morning, I did manage to remove most of it using nail polish remover, but then I left the remaining bit whilst I went out.

Now the remaining bit is very stubborn and will not come out - I have been sat on the floor scrubbing for 40 minutes, nice way to spend a Saturday night!

Should I try using something stronger, the nail polish remover really isn't working?

Any tips/suggestions?

Thanks. How to remove nail varnish from a laminate floor?
You could try cleaning the whole floor with a mop and water (add a high concentration of some multi surface cleaner to the water - make it hot water) Check on the bottle that the multi surface cleaner (eg flash) is suitable for laminateHow to remove nail varnish from a laminate floor?
Gosh, don't scrub anymore or you will take the surface off the laminate. It sounds like the remaining bit is in the tiny grooves of the floor surface, in which case scrubbing is only touching the raised bit, think microscopic here, if this is the case then I doubt you will remove it all.

This calls for a disguise of some sort, a mat ? or try colouring it in with the same colour as the laminate with felt tip, polish or similar.

If the floor is very smooth then the nail colour may have stained the floor and this may be the bit remaining, if all else fails try one of those window paint scrapers, but you will take the surface off and this may look worse than what you are left with.

Hope you find a way.
If you want to buy something, ';Oops'; is a product that takes dried paint, glue, etc off of just about anything without messing it up. I know it will work with your nail polish, b/c I did the same thing once in my kitchen and it cleaned right up. You just put it onto a clean cloth and lightly rub it until it comes off. It won't scratch or mess your floor up. You can find it in the paint department of most stores and it is relatively inexpensive.
try a brillo pad. i use this after been painting if i get any emulsion or gloss on the floor i use brillo pad and it takes it off
You could try scraping it off with a knife or something, but be careful not to scrape too hard. Good luck anyway.
Suggest you check out the website for Pergo floors and check the floor maintenance section.
