Masking tape!! l tryed removing it from mahogany with nail varnish remover, left a white mark, how do I fix i

sand the area very lightly... and then get a small container of mohagomey stain for wood..follow directions... and when you apply this dont forget ot over lap just a tiny bit... so you cant tell where you started... never ever use finger nail polish remover or any kind of remover on woods itll take the stain off and leave a white blob..good luck i knwo ya can fix this..heres ahugMasking tape!! l tryed removing it from mahogany with nail varnish remover, left a white mark, how do I fix i
You have probably ';melted'; the topcoat of finish. You need to use a fine grit sandpaper to smooth out and remove the white and then recoat the area with polyurethane.Masking tape!! l tryed removing it from mahogany with nail varnish remover, left a white mark, how do I fix i
all the above should work but be very patient when rubbing down.Always use wet and dry paper,the higher the number the finner it is.If you have to mask up again use low tack masking tape and remove as soon as you can.
Using a plastic pan cleaner rub the white mark ( glue ) with White Spirit or WD-40 that should get it off Never use nail varnish remover, wipe off excess and apply some mahogany stain
