How do you remove nail polish from a carpet?

I spilled nailpolish onto a brand new carpet, and i dont know how to get it out. Nail polish remover doesn't work. I have been soaking it with wet wash clothes the last day. I need to get it out before my parents see. Please help. Thanks.How do you remove nail polish from a carpet?
