Need help removing nail polish etc from hard wood floors w/o ruining floors.?

help selling house %26amp; my daughters bedroom floor has nailpolish stains, what do i do?Need help removing nail polish etc from hard wood floors w/o ruining floors.?
Nail polish remover, or if your floors are linoleum then use turpentine.

I have had great success using 'goof off' to take old paint pretty well anything. Try it on a small section 1st to make sure it does not cloud your hardwood floor finish.





*Use only in a well ventilated area as this stuff is REALLY strong.

Nail polish is a form of paint. Unfortunately if you remove the nailpolish, you are also removing the sealer and to some degree, the stain.





Only way: Make a square about the size of the parquet. Sand, re-stain to match and seal. It will be close but won't be exact.





Other than that, you got to do the whole room (not a preferred route, I am guessing).
